Job summary
Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Harrisburg, PA. This contract-based, on-demand role requires responding to service requests, diagnosing issues, and delivering hands-on assistance for desktop systems, laptops, and peripherals at the client location.
Responsibilities include configuring hardware and software, resolving LAN issues, documenting activities, and following client security procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience providing on-site desktop support.
- Familiar with Windows desktop environments and enterprise software.
- Able to troubleshoot hardware and network connectivity on client sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site desktop and IT support at client locations.
- Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Install and configure hardware, OS, and enterprise software.
- Resolve LAN connectivity issues and basic networking problems.
- Assist with device setup, replacements, and installations.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting via console access.
- Document activities and communicate progress to the service delivery team.
- Adhere to client IT policies and security procedures on site.
