Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking an on-site Desktop Support Engineer to provide end-user IT support in Springfield, Pennsylvania. You will triage and resolve issues, coordinate with the service delivery team, and ensure timely service delivery at the client site.

The role requires troubleshooting Windows desktops/laptops, hardware installations, LAN connectivity, and documenting activities. Strong communication and independence are essential for success in this field-based position.

Qualifications

Experience with Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
Hardware troubleshooting and replacement experience.
Basic networking knowledge (LAN, switches, routers).
Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in on-site support environments.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing on-site tasks.
