Axiom Technologies is seeking a reliable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Monroeville, PA. This is a contract-based, on-demand role with no guaranteed hours.

The position requires hands-on troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and peripherals at client sites. Responsibilities include resolving Windows and hardware issues, configuring devices, and supporting LAN connectivity, while adhering to client IT policies.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
Understanding of LAN connectivity and switches/routers.
Ability to diagnose desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in on-site environments.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot and resolve Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
