Job summary

Axiom Technologies in Levittown, PA is seeking a reliable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This contract-based, on-demand role involves responding to service requests, troubleshooting Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity at the client location.

The ideal candidate will work independently, follow security policies, and coordinate with the Service Delivery Team.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Windows desktops and laptop environments.
Experience troubleshooting hardware and peripherals.
Basic networking understanding (LAN, switches, routers).
Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in on-site environments.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
