Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an IT Support Engineer for an on-site role in New York, NY. You will be the face of workplace technology, delivering premium IT support, managing all hardware/software setups, and shaping office tech processes.

You will own onboarding for new hires, manage conference room tech, and coordinate with AV and network vendors to ensure smooth operations. Strong communication and macOS/Windows experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering white-glove IT support in an in-office environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to guide non-technical users.
• Hands-on macOS and Windows hardware setup and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and SaaS apps.
• Familiarity with device management and Okta SSO deployments.
• Knowledge of enterprise AV and basic office networking (WiFi).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-site IT contact; manage ticket queue and Slack support.
• Own setup, deployment, and recovery of office hardware/software for new hires.
• Configure and maintain Zoom Rooms, displays, mics for calls.
• Lead tech build-out for expanding offices; coordinate with vendors.
• Troubleshoot network and WiFi; drive permanent fixes with vendors.
• Manage IT assets lifecycle and inventory.
• Write clear documentation and runbooks.
