Job summary

Newmark is seeking an IT Operations Engineer Level 1 (Desktop Support Specialist) to provide proactive technology support to executive leadership and high-profile clients in Midtown Manhattan. You will maintain systems, resolve complex hardware and software issues, manage mobile devices, and ensure security and disaster recovery readiness while maintaining discretion.

This role requires strong communication, urgency, and a professional approach to supporting senior executives and their workflows

Qualifications

• Experience supporting executives and VIPs.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange, and O365.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain systems to prevent disruptions.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive information.
• Advise on technologies, upgrades, and optimizations for executive workflows.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity for executive systems.
• Document configurations and provide discreet training to VIP users.
