Job summary

The IT On-Site Support Engineer at Glanbia delivers hands-on IT support for Brookings, SD offices with weekly travel to Sioux Falls, SD and quarterly travel to Springfield, MO. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ are highly desirable.
• ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of IT Support with on-site experience in office environments.
• Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and decommissioning IT hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and decommission end-user hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, tablets).
• Provide on-site IT support for events, ensuring VC and telephony functionality.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding and device distribution/collection.
• Support site-specific technology such as digital signage and lab equipment.
• Document activities and resolutions per IT asset management processes.
• Adhere to IT security and compliance policies during on-site work.
• Maintain local IT infrastructure including servers, UPS, and end-user equipment.
• Collaborate with central IT and service providers; act as remote hands as needed.
