Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Hands & Feet Support Engineer to deliver deskside IT support for corporate office infrastructure and end-user environments in Merrick, NY. You will install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals; support meeting rooms and video conferencing; assist with moves, asset deployment, and inventory; and log incidents in ServiceNow.

The role requires 2-5 years in IT End User Computing, knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and basic networking; visa sponsorship

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in IT End User Computing, Desktop Support, or Field Support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office applications.
• Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts: LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, VPN.
• Experience supporting audio/video conferencing systems and meeting room tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide deskside support for hardware, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, relocate, and decommission desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other end-user devices.
• Support meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, and collaboration tools before and during meetings.
• Assist with office moves, workstation setup, and asset deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues and coordinate with remote teams for incident resolution.
• Maintain inventory records, asset tracking, and equipment storage areas.
