Job summary

DataServ/xFact is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide on-site end user support at customer locations, troubleshooting devices, software, and connectivity while delivering exceptional technical support.

You will represent DataServ/xFact professionally, act as primary liaison with customers, handle help desk responsibilities, maintain technical documentation, and participate in projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Relevant prior work experience.
• Local travel between customer sites.
• Able to lift and handle up to 45 pounds.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Pre-employment driver’s license and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Represent DataServ/xFact in a professional manner to customers and vendors.
• Work on-site at customer locations.
• Serve as a primary liaison between the customer and DataServ/xFact teams.
• Handle help desk responsibilities.
• Support and maintain customer technologies and ensure ongoing functionality.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (laptops, desktops, projectors, printers, sound systems).
• Participate in customer meetings.
• Maintain and update technical documentation.
• Participate in projects and process improvements.
• Potential on-call responsibilities.
• Be a supportive team member and provide backup support.
