Job summary

City Electric Supply is seeking a Deskside Support specialist to be the first point of contact for end users facing technical issues. You will gather information, diagnose basic problems, and perform first-line fixes, escalating more complex issues to Level 2 technicians as needed.

You will provide onsite support to internal customers, document steps taken, and follow up until full resolution. This role requires clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience providing first-level IT support or desk-side assistance.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Take initial calls and in-person requests and create tickets.
• Provide onsite support to internal customers.
• Gather information to identify root cause of issues.
• Troubleshoot using documented steps and known fixes.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 per policy.
• Follow up on tickets until fully resolved.
