Job summary

University of California, Davis is sourcing a Tier 1–2 IT Support Analyst to provide endpoint engineering and comprehensive desktop support for the NBRI community. The role involves deploying, configuring, and refreshing Windows and macOS devices using modern tools (Intune, Autopilot, BigFix, JAMF), and managing user accounts in AD/Entra ID in line with UC security policies.

You will document incidents in ServiceNow, support server/VM infrastructure under guidance, and maintain hardware/software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Ability to research, plan, test, document and resolve incidents and problems.
• Experience with Windows and macOS in an enterprise setting.
• Experience with endpoint management and software distribution tools including Intune and JAMF.
• Experience administering AD/Entra ID and cloud policy, with Group Policy knowledge.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 apps and related services.
• Experience with networking, VPN, remote access, and MFA troubleshooting.
• Experience with endpoint security, patching and data security practices.
• Experience with ticketing in ITSM systems such as ServiceNow.
• Ability to document clearly and communicate with non-technical clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for NBRI community.
• Deploy, configure, and refresh Windows and macOS devices using Intune, Autopilot, BigFix, JAMF.
• Manage AD/Entra ID accounts and accessPermissions; support server/VM infrastructure.
• Maintain asset inventories and lifecycle records; assist with refresh programs.
