Job summary

MERIT CRO, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Associate I to provide on-site technical assistance in our Madison, WI office. The role handles end-user support, hardware and software troubleshooting, and account setup to ensure smooth IT operations.

You will work with a collaborative IT team, resolve issues, and contribute to project tasks and documentation. This full-time position requires strong customer service, basic networking knowledge, and reliability.

Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Hands-on experience configuring Windows 10/11 and desktop software.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Ability to work on-site at Madison, WI and in person.
Customer-focused with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Provide end-user technical support via phone, email, and in person.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware/software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Set up and configure desktops, peripherals, and user accounts; manage security levels.
Collaborate with IT team to resolve complex issues and assist IT projects.
Document issues and create knowledge base articles; maintain documentation.
