Job summary
Burnett Specialists is seeking an IT Technical Specialist to act as the primary on-site IT resource for multi-site operations in Houston. The role involves hands-on Windows and Mac support, Microsoft 365 management, Entra ID administration, and basic networking troubleshooting.
You will manage the ticketing system, deploy new equipment, onboard/offboard users, and support ERP and legacy business applications while maintaining comprehensive IT documentation.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in information systems or computer science required.
- Windows desktop and remote-user support experience preferred.
- Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration experience.
- Basic networking and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer-service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- ERP, Intune, PowerShell, Network+, ITIL, or manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 IT support and serve as the primary on-site IT resource for multi-site operations.
- Support Windows PCs and Macs, manage printers and mobile devices.
- Manage help desk requests through a ticketing system.
- Configure and deploy new computers and equipment.
- Onboard/offboard users and handle access changes.
- Troubleshoot basic network, switch, and Wi-Fi issues.
- Support ERP and legacy business applications.
- Maintain IT documentation and escalate complex issues as needed.
