Cary Medical Center in Maine is seeking an IT Specialist to provide technical support and resolve issues with the organization’s computer networks and systems. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting standard PC and network hardware and software, with a focus on end-user support and problem resolution.

The role requires an in-depth understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, devices, and software and the ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot independently.

Formación

• Minimum Associates in Science in Information Systems; bachelor’s in science in Information Systems preferred.
• Industry Certifications related to the position preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, either on-site or remotely.
• Walk end-users through the problem-solving process.
• Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
• Assists in the installation of network infrastructure equipment including cabling plants and telecommunications hardware.
• Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware.
• Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
• Managing technical documentation.
• Evaluate and resolve computer, system, and user problems in multi‑platform environments.
• Implements backup and recovery procedures.
• Assists in monitoring and troubleshooting LAN/WAN performance and resolving networking problems.
