Job summary

New Era Cap, LLC. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Project Analyst to translate business needs into actionable insights within the IT PMO.

You will develop business cases, ROI analyses, executive presentations, and portfolio dashboards, collaborating with cross-functional and global stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and optimize resources. The Information Technology team delivers reliable, secure, and innovative technology solutions, enabling day-to-day operations and cross-functional

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, IT, or related field.
3–5 years supporting project management, business analysis, or strategic initiatives.
Experience with PMI, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or Lean methodologies.
Experience with senior management and key stakeholders.
Familiarity with Jira, Asana, Confluence; Power BI or Tableau for analytics.

Responsibilities

Evaluate project requests using ROI, cost-benefit, and business impact analyses.
Develop business cases, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations.
Prepare materials, track decisions, and follow up on actions for steering forums.
Gather requirements and define scope with cross-functional stakeholders.
Identify improvements and opportunities to deliver business value for New Era.
Create executive dashboards and KPI reports for portfolio performance.
Coordinate timelines, meetings, and communications across regions.
Maintain governance artifacts (charters, RAID logs) per PMO standards.
Monitor risks, dependencies, and issues; escalate as needed.
Support portfolio planning, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
Ensure data integrity across initiatives and reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes, including automation.
Champion change in New Era's digital transformation.
Keep all sensitive matters confidential.
Perform other duties as assigned.
