Job summary

New Era Cap LLC is seeking a Manager, PMO in Buffalo, NY to lead enterprise technology delivery across ERP, e-commerce, data platforms and analytics. You will oversee SDLC governance, implement portfolio management platforms, and guide a team of analysts to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

The role demands strong leadership, ERP/SAP experience, and the ability to translate technical status and risks for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Information Systems/CS related field preferred.
• Five to seven years of progressively responsible IT project/program management experience.
• PMP certification required; SAFe/PgMP/PfMP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate intake, evaluation, and prioritization for technology initiatives; assess feasibility, architecture, integration, data security, ROI and TCO with EA and InfoSec.
• Direct planning and oversight of complex multi-system IT programs (ERP, e-commerce, integrations, data platforms); enforce SDLC-aligned stage gates across delivery models.
• Architect, configure, and build PMO platforms and workflows; develop integrations using low-code/no-code tools and REST APIs; apply software engineering practices.
• Design the portfolio data model and automated data pipelines; develop dashboards and KPIs in Power BI/Tableau; provide near real-time delivery health insights to leadership.
• Manage technology portfolio budgets/forecasts/actuals; model capacity and align with leadership; manage vendor statements of work.
• Identify and manage cross-system risks and dependencies; coordinate release planning with teams.
• Facilitate executive steering committee and portfolio prioritization; govern delivery with system integrators and vendors; manage SOWs, deliverables, and change orders.
• Lead PMO staff; define standards, templates, and governance artifacts; introduce AI-enabled practices to improve delivery and reporting.
• Keep all sensitive matters confidential
