Job summary

First Rate Inc, headquartered in Arlington, Texas, is seeking a Senior IT Operations Specialist to keep our people productive and our technology secure. You will own daily help desk operations, resolve complex issues, administer Microsoft 365 and core IT systems, and support infrastructure and security projects.

This on-site role requires five days per week in the office, with a service-minded approach and a focus on reliable, scalable technology aligned with policy and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressively responsible IT support, help desk, systems administration, network support, or closely related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent professional experience in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
• CompTIA A+ certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily help desk queue from intake through closure, prioritization, troubleshooting, escalation, user communication, and resolution documentation.
• Provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 support for company devices, peripherals, conference-room technology, connectivity, collaboration tools, and approved business applications.
• Complete employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, including device preparation, account and access changes, software installation, security configuration, and equipment recovery.
• Independently administer Microsoft 365 and related security platforms; manage users, licenses, and access with least-privilege
• Monitor and maintain network, server, endpoint, backups, and security health; document and escalate where needed.
