Job summary

Arkansas Colleges of Health Education seeks an IT Support Administrator to advance the IT Operations strategy and provide autonomous, confidential support for infrastructure, applications, and technology services across divisions in Fort Smith, AR.

You will configure and maintain Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, support end-user devices, assist with classroom technology, and document procedures in the IT knowledgebase while collaborating with Deans’ offices and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in supporting technology and/or applications.
• Currently working towards a technology related certification.
• Preferred: Microsoft, CompTIA, or technology related certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Three years progressive experience in supporting technology and/or applications.
• Experience in the support of technology in an academic or medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Notify IT management of changes to cloud storage for class recordings.
• Work with vendors on improvements to cloud video storage (Microsoft Stream, Mediasite).
• Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 and Active Directory accounts and security.
• Create technical procedures and archive in the IT Knowledgebase.
• Research IT innovations and trends to improve operations.
• Maintain device security access and report improvements to IT Management.
• Create, test, and maintain Windows imaging procedures.
• Provide end-user technology support (laptops, desktops, desk phones).
• Support classroom technologies and faculty/staff in the classroom.
• Escalate issues and contribute to process improvements.
• Coordinate with operations for events involving AV technologies.
• Document knowledge for staff, faculty, and student use.
