Job summary

Freeman Health System in Springdale, AR is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to manage end-user devices, perform break/fix and upgrades, and support patient-care IT initiatives. You will work under the Manager of Endpoint Solutions, providing remote and on-site technical assistance and helping establish enterprise technology standards.

Applicants should have an Associate Degree in IT/Healthcare or related field, 2 years of relevant experience, and CompTIA A+ or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field (2 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience below)
• 2 years of relevant work experience
• CompTIA A+, or other preferred certifications listed within the first 120 days of hire (5 years of experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of A+)

Responsibilities

• Handle operational break/fix issues, upgrades, and maintenance of end-user devices during refresh intervals and new device projects
• Provide technical support, consultation, training, and help develop enterprise technology standards
• Support end-user devices across all organization levels and IT teams, both remotely and on-site
• Lead team-level projects, train team members, and assist in strategic planning for complex systems
