Stream Data Centers in Dallas/Frisco, TX is hiring a Desktop Technician to provide friendly, Tier 1 IT support for end users, configure and deploy devices, and assist with onboarding and offboarding.

This entry-level role emphasizes customer service, foundational Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 knowledge, onsite support at Stream locations, and adherence to security and ticketing processes, with occasional after-hours support.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Basic networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, printers).
• Hands-on Helpdesk/desktop support experience.
• Strong customer-service skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to organize multiple requests, follow documented procedures, and escalate when appropriate.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Tier 1 IT support through phone, email, chat, ticket portal, and in-person requests.
• Record, categorize, prioritize, and update incidents in the IT service-management system.
• Troubleshoot issues involving Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and printers.
• Prepare, configure, deploy, replace, and recover laptops/desktops/monitors/mobile devices.
• Assist with device enrollment and endpoint provisioning via Microsoft Intune.
• Support password resets and MFA while following security procedures.
• Complete onboarding and offboarding tasks including equipment and access coordination.
• Escalate unresolved or high-impact issues with notes and evidence.
