Job summary

Summit Medical Group is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support technician for an on-site, full-time role in Knoxville, TN. You will be the first line of technical assistance for computer systems, hardware, and software, handling calls, tickets, and basic troubleshooting.

Preferred candidates have an Associate or higher IT/medical related degree and a minimum of 3 years IT/medical experience, with skills in AD account provisioning and user support.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher-level degree in IT or medical related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years IT/Medical related experience.
• Experience supporting IT/helpdesk environments and users.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls to the IT Helpdesk, log and route tickets, and assist with first-line support.
• Respond to IT support emails and distribute tickets to appropriate teams.
• Troubleshoot Level 1 issues: password resets, software installs, and remote access problems.
• Create and manage new AD accounts and user provisioning.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with corporate security policies.
• Support departmental initiatives and participate in team efforts.
