Job summary

Summit Medical Group is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support technician for an on-site, full-time role in Knoxville, TN. You will be the first line of technical assistance for computer systems, hardware, and software, handling calls, tickets, and basic troubleshooting.

Preferred candidates have an Associate or higher IT/medical related degree and a minimum of 3 years IT/medical experience, with skills in AD account provisioning and user support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer calls to the IT Helpdesk, log and route tickets, and assist with first-line support.

• Create and manage new AD accounts and user provisioning.

Description

Summit Medical Group is recruiting for an IT Helpdesk Support position. This is a full time opportunty. This position is the go-to for providing first line technical assistance related to computer systems, hardware, and software.

Examples of Duties (List does not include all duties assigned)

• Answers calls to the IT Support line, work the ticket to the best of their ability, and distribute tickets to appropriate team as necessary.
• Respond to IT Support and work order email groups. Create tickets accordingly and distribute to appropriate teams.
• Troubleshoot IT issues within Level 1 parameters and ability level. Examples of this include password resets, remote printer installation, software installation, user
  education, and remote access problem solving.
• Responsible for New AD Account creation and assign tickets for the new user setup and creation where appropriate.
• Maintains professional competency through research, study, and continuing education programs as directed.
• Contributes to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the department and organization.
• Adheres to all elements of the established corporate compliance program.
• Maintains strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.
• Complete all other duties, special projects as assigned.

Education
Associate or higher-level degree in IT or medical related field is preferred.

Experience

A minimum equivalent of 3-years of IT/Medical related experience.
