Job summary

Soaring Towers is seeking a hands-on IT Field Technician to cover client sites across Los Angeles County. This role is field-based with no fixed office, requiring daily travel and on-site problem solving.

You will deploy and configure workstations, diagnose hardware and network issues, document work in ConnectWise and Hudu, and collaborate with remote engineers. A California driver’s license and ability to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on IT support experience (help desk, field service, MSP)
• Experience installing/troubleshooting Windows 10/11 devices
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs)
• Valid California driver's license and willingness to travel LA County
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in server closets/under desks

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure workstations, printers, and peripherals, and set up new users
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (drives, RAM, power, display, peripherals)
• Troubleshoot and replace network equipment (Ubiquiti switches, APs, firewalls)
• Resolve on-site tickets in ConnectWise PSA with clear notes
• Keep client documentation current in Hudu with asset/site details
• Collaborate with remote engineers on escalations and on-site support
• Represent Soaring Towers professionally with clients, including in regulated environments
