Geeks on Site in California is seeking an On-Call IT Field Technician to provide flexible, on-site tech support across multiple U.S. cities. This role offers $35 per hour for tasks such as troubleshooting computer issues, networking support, and outdoor TV mounting.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in IT support or field service.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Own required tools including a laptop, drill, screwdrivers, and cable tester.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues.
• Resolve WiFi, router, and wired network problems.
• Install and configure printers and scanners.
• Replace or upgrade hardware components.
• Reinstall operating systems using bootable tools.
• Document work and communicate clearly with customers.
• Install and support POS systems and run Cat5e or Cat6 cabling.
• Perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup.
