Job summary

Treeline is seeking its first local Client Engineer in the Los Angeles metro area. This hands-on, field-based role involves driving to client sites, managing client relationships, and delivering end-to-end projects. Mileage is reimbursed and relocation is not supported. Candidates must be based in the LA area at hire.

Responsibilities include supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and networking, with strong communication skills to explain complex issues to non-technical staff and executives.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in IT support.
• Experience with multi-client or MSP environments.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID skills.
• Willingness to travel within the LA area.

Responsibilities

• Support clients across Microsoft 365, identity (Entra ID), endpoints, networks, and servers, both onsite and remotely.
• Own client relationships and small projects end to end.
• Troubleshoot at the infrastructure layer: Microsoft 365 tenant configuration, networking, and endpoint management across multiple client environments.
• Explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff and executives, and document as you go.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting networks, servers, endpoints, and identity, whether onsite or remote.
• Three or more years in IT support; multi-client or MSP experience strongly preferred.
• Solid Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, and networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
• A strong communicator who builds trust with clients and can adapt to any audience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102) preferred.
• Comfortable driving to client sites across the LA metro.
