Job summary

Secur-Serv is a leading MSP that provides on-site IT, print, and hardware services with a security focus. The Field Service Technician will install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a range of hardware including printers, cash recyclers, document finishing equipment, servers, PCs, and data communications equipment for customers across diverse industries.

The role requires travel to customer locations, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers

Qualifications

• Two or more years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to attend training at Headquarters or external schools to keep abreast of new technology.
• Valid state Driver's License.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem solving, analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations via company vehicle to diagnose, repair, and/or replace computer hardware.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedule in a timely manner.
• Assist other territories and technicians as needed, including travel to other metropolitan areas.
• Take ownership of meeting customers’ business needs.
• Coordinate activities and seek assistance from technical support when appropriate.
• Provide updates and completion information to manager, sales, technical support, and customer.
