Job summary

Secur-Serv is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair a range of hardware including printers, cash recyclers, servers, and PCs across diverse customer sites. You will travel to client locations, diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with support teams to meet service levels.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to train and adapt to new technology.

Qualifications

• Two or more years related experience and/or training.
• Able to attend training at Headquarters or outside schools to keep abreast of new technology.
• Valid and current state Driver's License.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision.
• Ability to diagnose equipment operational errors, problem solve, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Travels to customer locations via company vehicle to diagnose, repair, and/or replace computer hardware.
• Manages preventative maintenance schedule in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assists other territories and technicians as needed, which may include travel to other metropolitan areas.
• Takes ownership of meeting customers’ business needs.
• Coordinates activities and seeks assistance from technical support when appropriate.
• Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager, sales, technical support, call center, and customer.
