Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking an experienced IT Field Technician to provide hands-on support for end users, systems, and equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will resolve hardware/software issues, configure PCs, manage assets, and escalate complex problems as needed.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, customer service, and the ability to work independently in field and office settings, with responsibility for printers, imaging, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on IT field support or desktop support experience.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for customers, including installation, configuration, maintenance, repair, and replacement of IT hardware and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS, and peripheral issues.
Install, upgrade, maintain, and support desktops, laptops, notebooks, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
Configure and deploy PCs using imaging tools, SCCM, and standalone installations.
Support Windows, macOS, and iOS environments.
Troubleshoot network printers, including HP printer configuration and moves.
Support Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.
