Job summary

Bit By Bit Inc is seeking a Level 2 Field Engineer to join our on-site team. This on-call role based in New Jersey involves working directly with clients, managing installations, troubleshooting, and providing ongoing technical support while coordinating with the broader technical staff.

You will travel to client sites, own tickets from start to finish, and represent Bit By Bit professionally on site. Occasional after-hours work may be required in a fast-paced MSP environment.

Qualifications

3–5 years of IT support experience, including field service or MSP environments.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Travel to client locations and perform onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of hardware, software, and IT systems.
Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Provide onsite support and escalate to senior engineers when needed.
Manage service tickets from initiation to resolution using the ticketing system.
Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with clients.
