Job summary

National Beef in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking a Desktop Administrator to join our team onsite. You will provide end-user IT support, manage Active Directory, and support Microsoft 365 with hands-on desktop and server tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Windows Desktop and Active Directory.
• Experience with desktop hardware troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• High school diploma required; college or technical certifications preferred.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in an on-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across the site.
• Deliver high-quality support to both technical and non-technical users.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Active Directory.
• Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Office applications) and Windows environments.
• Assist with basic server and network troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
• Perform system imaging, patching, and updates.
• Ensure devices meet corporate security and compliance standards.
• Serve as a key IT contact for local users and coordinate with central IT teams.
• Support business operations systems and infrastructure.
• Participate in IT projects and system upgrades.
• Work on-site in Kansas City, MO with on-call/after-hours support.
