Job summary

American Century Investments is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to serve as a primary technology partner for employees in a hybrid role based in Kansas City, MO. You will provide hands-on and remote support for desktops, laptops, and mobiles, while collaborating with multiple IT teams to ensure a secure, high‑quality user experience.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IT support, strong Windows/Microsoft 365 skills, and experience with ITSM processes, AD/Entra ID, and executive support.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in desktop/IT support.
• Experience with Windows & Microsoft 365 apps.
• Familiarity with Active Directory/Entra ID.
• Experience in ITSM environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage workstation deployment, lifecycle, and asset records.
• Deliver executive and VIP support with professionalism and discretion.
• Support meeting techs and collaboration tools (Teams Rooms, video).
• Ensure endpoint security, patching, and policy compliance.
• Maintain clear documentation in the ITSM system.
