Job summary

Mettler Toledo AutoChem Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, and maintain AutoChem instrumentation at customer sites.

You will train customers, serve as a trusted advisor, and collaborate with Sales, Service and Product Management to ensure high satisfaction. You will require an associate degree in a related field and at least 4 years of hands‑on experience with electronic, electrical, mechanical and computer systems, plus strong English communication and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Associate degree in chemistry or engineering related field; minimum 4 years troubleshooting electronic, electrical, mechanical and computer systems.
• Experience with Infrared, Optics, Lasers, HPLC, GC or Mass Spectrometry is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and clear written and verbal English communication.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance of AutoChem instrumentation.
• Establish and maintain a Trusted Advisor role with customers through service delivery and training.
• Complete advanced instructor-led service product training and communicate issues to Sales and Support.
• Schedule and manage service assignments, track utilization, and report progress.
• Document scheduling, escalation and feedback for quality improvements.
• Manage field inventory and travel/expense within budget.
