Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a major hyperscale data center program in Spartanburg, SC. The role is on‑site with leadership of diverse teams across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction PM, 4+ years on large projects, and a strong track record in safety, cost control, and scheduling. Travel as needed; hybrid options may apply in some regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of construction project management experience on large-scale projects.
• 4+ years in PM/APM role managing $50M+ projects.
• Experience across preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, closeout.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, contract administration, and controls.
• Experience with change orders, cost controls, risk mitigation, and payments.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication with executives, clients, contractors, and consultants.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center construction from concept to completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to achieve objectives.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight across all project phases.
• Coordinate among architects, engineers, contractors, utilities, and clients.
• Facilitate meetings, document minutes, track actions, and report status.
