Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up systems at customer facilities. You will apply air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts while coordinating with project leaders to meet site requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification required or equivalent.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• Technical School or formal training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements.
• Represents the company as direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Uses blueprints/engineering specs and hand-tools to diagnose and repair HVAC units on site.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as needed.
• Ensures safety standards and secures company assets on site.
