Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems at customer sites in a defined market. You will use your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to ensure optimal performance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years HVAC experience and technical training preferred.
• MS Office proficiency and handheld device familiarity.
• Valid driver's license with clean record in past 3 years, EPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to define on-site installation and repairs.
• Serve as direct customer contact on assigned projects and ensure satisfaction.
• Diagnose and repair equipment following blueprints or specs using tools and software.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Adhere to highest safety standards and manage company assets.
