Job summary

Trane Technologies in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Service Estimator to prepare quotes for commercial HVAC service projects and maintenance agreements. You will work with Account Managers to define scope, estimate costs and support bids to win contracts.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, construction knowledge, and strong focus on on-time, on-budget delivery with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in engineering or related field, or technical certificate with related experience.
• Experience with construction including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Experience running projects on time and on budget; strong financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Create quotes for service maintenance agreements and service repairs for Account Managers.
• Develop detailed cost estimates including materials, labor and subcontractors.
• Coordinate scope with Account Managers and optimize job costs with vendors.
• Lead pre-bid meetings and participate in lean improvements activities.
