Trane Technologies in Denver is hiring a Service Estimator to prepare quotes for HVAC service projects and service agreements. You will collaborate with Account Managers and building owners to deliver energy-efficient solutions and accurate cost estimates.

The role requires HVAC knowledge, MS Office proficiency, and experience with CRM tools. Overtime/weekends may be required, and a valid driver’s license is needed. Salary range reflects local market expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate degree in engineering, engineering technology or related study preferred with 3–5 years of related experience, or a technical certificate with 5 years of related experience.
HVAC knowledge across commercial building services and equipment.
Experience with CRM platforms and MS Office for proposals and data management.

Responsibilities

Create quotes for service agreements and all quoted works for Service Account Managers.
Prepare cost estimates covering materials, subcontractors, equipment, labor and related activities.
Develop detailed cost estimates with system sketches, scope definitions, exclusions, vendor quotes and cost factors.
Take-off and price purchased equipment ensuring quantity, size, configuration, and options accuracy.
Identify cost savings opportunities and maintain competitive industry knowledge.
Define scope of work for sub-contractors and negotiate prices to optimize job costs.
Hold pre-bid meetings with Account Managers to review scope and strategy.
