Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in engineering or engineering technology preferred with 3–5 years’ related experience; or technical certificate with 5 years related experience.
• HVAC knowledge or technician experience is valued and practical experience prioritized.
• Experience with construction basics across mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create quotes for service maintenance agreements and all service repairs to support Account Managers.
• Prepare cost estimates including materials, subcontractors, equipment, labor, and other construction activities.
• Develop detailed scope and cost estimates with vendor quotes and exceptions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage risk items across projects.
• Scope work for subcontractors and negotiate pricing to optimize job costs.
• Hold pre-bid meetings with Account Managers to review scope and strategy.
• Participate in lean improvements activities.
