Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Albany, NY is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive and repair work orders on building systems and ensure safe, reliable operations across our campus facilities.

You will maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related building components, handle inspections and emergencies, and coordinate with management on condition reports, safety compliance, and after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of building engineering experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical repair.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
• Willingness to perform on-call duties and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair work orders on building systems.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems.
• Conduct facility inspections and reporting on conditions affecting occupancy.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Prepare management summary reports with recommended actions.
• Learn and apply building automation, fire/life safety, and related equipment.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain tidy work areas.
• Support after-hours activities as required.
