Job summary

The WV State Auditor’s Office seeks an HRM Business Analyst in its Charleston, WV office. The role focuses on payroll and HRM processes within the wvOASIS ERP system, handling tax-related payroll tasks and supporting upgrades, feature testing, and end-user training.

Based in Charleston, the position requires five days in the office and operates in a non-remote capacity, collaborating with HRM 4x Administrators and Payroll staff on deployment of new functionality.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with public speaking.
• Able to work independently as well as in a group both in-person and virtually.
• Detail oriented.
• Knowledge of the statewide ERP system.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) including pivot tables.
• Ability to learn database query software (SQL) to troubleshoot HRM/Payroll/Time-Leave data.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with the review, testing, and implementation of system upgrades, feature sets, and issue tickets.
• Training end users in the HRM and Reporting applications.
• Attend CGI User Discussion Group calls related to HRM/Payroll, including Admin/Tech discussion groups.
• Training support for manual and automated system testing.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of the procedural manuals for division.
• Assist with entry and subsequent updating of issue related tickets in the state and vendor ticketing systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
