CFS is seeking an experienced HR Supervisor for an on-site role in Chicago, IL. You will influence employee relations, benefits, compliance, payroll, HRIS, performance management, and policy development.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and perhaps SHRM-CP or PHR certification. This position emphasizes strategy, leadership, and collaboration with management and staff.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR or related field.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in HR supervision or management.
• Hands-on with employee lifecycle HR functions.

Aufgaben

• Lead employee relations investigations and support progressive discipline and corrective action processes.
• Administer benefits, open enrollment, leave programs, accommodations, FMLA, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work processes.
• Oversee HRIS data accuracy, personnel records, payroll support, and employment changes.
• Manage performance evaluation processes and assist with employee development and training.
• Monitor federal, state, and local employment regulations and ensure HR policies remain compliant.
• Maintain and update the employee handbook, HR policies, I-9 documentation, and required labor law postings.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and employment verification.
• Prepare HR metrics, reporting, audits, and compliance documentation for leadership.
• Supervise and provide guidance to HR staff while collaborating with benefits, payroll, HRIS, and other vendors.
• Travel among Chicagoland locations as needed while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
