This role offers potential to expand into multi-site HR responsibilities, with on-site daily hours and growth opportunities. Requires a BA in HR or organisational development and 5 years in manufacturing HR, including union experience.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a Union Environment.
• SHRM certifications a plus.
• Solid working knowledge of HR processes in manufacturing.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• The HR Manager is an integral part of the leadership team and oversees human resources operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Advises management on employee relations, supports performance management and compensation programs, and leads recruitment, training, and career development initiatives.
• Develops and implements HR policies, conducts exit interviews to reduce turnover, supports payroll processing, and drives continuous improvement through best practices and ongoing professional development.
