Job summary

Lou Sobh Automotive is seeking an on-site Human Resource Manager to support employees across our growing multi-location business. You will manage onboarding, payroll, and benefits, serve as the first contact for team questions, and handle post-employment events.

Your role will elevate employee experiences and ensure data integrity across HR processes. You will partner with Payroll and be a key player in audits, compliance, and reporting.

Qualifications

• In-office position, not remote.
• Degree in HR or related field required.
• In-depth knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and industry best practices.
• Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and recruitment techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High level of integrity and handling of sensitive information.
• HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Run onboarding program (orientation, system entry, background checks) and be the first contact for multi-location employees.
• Assist in recruitment and hiring.
• Execute HR operational processes with focus on employee experience and data integrity.
• Be the first point of contact for employee questions and employment verification requests; escalate when needed.
• Maintain documentation for manager and employee self-service.
• Respond to and resolve payroll and benefits requests from teammates.
• Identify and drive process improvements using HR systems to reduce manual work.
• Support reporting, dashboards, and metrics to drive decisions.
• Assist in audits and compliance reporting.
• Coordinate with Payroll for updates (comp changes, state benefits) ahead of payroll processing.
