Job summary

Mobis Alabama LLC is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for our on-site production plant to handle HR and payroll duties while supporting managers and staff with excellent service.

The role covers payroll, benefits, policy implementation, and compliance with employment laws; bilingual Spanish preferred. Requires a Bachelor's in HR or related field, 5+ years' experience, and may include SHRM-CP; cross-functional collaboration with expatriates tax filings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience
• SHRM-CP certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between the facility and the corporate HR department regarding time reporting, personnel questions, complaints, issues, etc.
• Administers company policies and procedures, and aids in ensuring compliance.
• Maintains up-to-date personnel, medical, and termination files.
• Performs hiring and termination of employees and contract staff.
• Processes payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Prepares monthly reports for Head Quarters in Seoul, South Korea.
• Supports expatriates tax filing in addition to running their monthly payroll cycle.
