Job summary

Aktion Associates in Maumee, OH is seeking an HR Generalist / Learning & Development Lead to own the enterprise-wide learning roadmap, align skillsets with business goals, and translate forecasts into structured development programs. You will partner with Practice Managers and Managing Consultants to create repeatable learning paths and competency models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, implementing, and managing learning & development initiatives.
• Experience building competency frameworks and enterprise learning programs.
• Ability to align workforce development with business growth forecasts.
• Experience managing learning technologies, certification programs, and reporting metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise-wide skillset alignment process and annual learning roadmap.
• Translate divisional demand forecasts into structured development programs and learning priorities.
• Partner with Practice Managers and Managing Consultants to create repeatable learning paths, curriculum, and competency models.
• Establish progress tracking, skill validation, and reporting to leadership on learning outcomes and readiness levels.
• Facilitate quarterly talent reviews to identify skill gaps, succession risks, and development opportunities.
• Develop a culture of continuous learning through training programs, certifications, teach-backs, mentoring, and career development initiatives.
• Measure ROI of development efforts through utilization improvement, skill attainment, internal mobility, succession readiness, and business growth alignment.
