Job summary

Aktion Associates, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist / Learning & Development Lead in Maumee, OH to shape enterprise-wide development strategies and the annual learning roadmap.

You will translate forecasts into programs, partner with managers to craft competency models, and report on outcomes to leadership. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in learning leadership, experience building career paths, and a track record aligning development with business growth.

Qualifications

• Experience building competency frameworks and career paths.
• Ability to align development programs with business growth.
• Experience with learning technologies, certifications, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise-wide skillset alignment process and annual learning roadmap.
• Translate divisional demand forecasts into structured development programs and learning priorities.
• Partner with Practice Managers and Managing Consultants to create repeatable learning paths, curriculum, and competency models.
• Establish progress tracking, skill validation, and reporting to leadership on learning outcomes and readiness levels.
• Facilitate quarterly talent reviews to identify skill gaps, succession risks, and development opportunities.
• Develop a culture of continuous learning through training programs, certifications, teach-backs, mentoring, and career development initiatives.
• Measure ROI of development efforts through utilization improvement, skill attainment, internal mobility, succession readiness, and business growth alignment.

Role and Responsibilities

Education, Experience and Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing Learning & Development, Talent Development, workforce planning, or organizational development initiatives.
• Experience building competency frameworks, career pathways, and enterprise learning programs.
• Proven ability to align workforce development strategies with business growth forecasts and operational needs.
• Experience managing learning technologies, certification programs, skill assessments, and reporting metrics.
