Job summary

Aktion Associates in Maumee, OH seeks an HR Generalist/Learning & Development Lead to design enterprise-wide learning programs, build competency models, and align development with growth forecasts.

You will partner with practice managers to create training paths, track progress, and report outcomes while fostering a culture of continuous learning, with a performance-based year-end bonus and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing Learning & Development initiatives.
• Experience building competency frameworks, career pathways, and enterprise learning programs.
• Proven ability to align workforce development strategies with business growth forecasts and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise-wide skillset alignment and annual learning roadmap.
• Translate divisional demand forecasts into structured development programs and learning priorities.
• Partner with Practice Managers and Managing Consultants to create repeatable learning paths, curriculum, and competency models.
• Establish progress tracking, skill validation, and reporting to leadership on learning outcomes and readiness levels.
• Facilitate quarterly talent reviews to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
• Develop culture of continuous learning through training programs, certifications, teach-backs, mentoring, and career development initiatives.
• Measure ROI of development efforts through utilization, skill attainment, internal mobility, and growth alignment.

HR Generalist/ Learning & Development Lead

Role and Responsibilities:

• Own the enterprise-wide skillset alignment process and annual learning roadmap.


• Translate divisional demand forecasts into structured development programs and learning priorities.


• Partner with Practice Managers and Managing Consultants to create repeatable learning paths, curriculum, and competency models.


• Establish progress tracking, skill validation, and reporting to leadership on learning outcomes and readiness levels.


• Facilitate quarterly talent reviews to identify skill gaps, succession risks, and development opportunities.

Education, Experience and Skills:

• Experience building competency frameworks, career pathways, and enterprise learning programs.


• Proven ability to align workforce development strategies with business growth forecasts and operational needs.


• Experience managing learning technologies, certification programs, skill assessments, and reporting metrics.
