Job summary

Fluid Motion, LLC in Monroe, WA is seeking an on-site Human Resources Generalist to support benefits and employee relations. The role provides HR guidance across employment practices, investigation and resolution, leave administration, and full-cycle talent acquisition while ensuring consistent policy application and compliance.

As a trusted HR partner, you will maintain HRIS and benefits records, oversee compliance documentation, and drive practical people initiatives that align with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business admin, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience in employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and recruiting.
• Experience in manufacturing, marine, or multi-site environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on employee relations, company policies, employment practices, performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns to employees and leaders.
• Investigate employee complaints, conduct issues, and policy violations while maintaining confidentiality and driving appropriate resolution.
• Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, life event changes, open enrollment, employee education, vendor coordination, and issue resolution.
• Oversee leave of absence programs including FMLA, state leave programs, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation, military leave, and personal leaves, ensuring compliance and effective return-to-work processes.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, offer administration, new hire orientation, and integration.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, benefits documentation, and leave administration records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, benefit regulations, and company policies through audits, reporting, documentation, and process oversight.
• Implement and communicate HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, recognition, and a positive workplace culture.
• Partner with leadership on organizational and people-related initiatives using HR metrics, data analysis, and continuous improvement practices to support business objectives.
