Medline Industries, LP in Washington (Lacey) is seeking an onsite HR Generalist to partner with management and deliver HR services. The role supports policy interpretation, employee relations, recruitment liaison, and training needs while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

The position emphasizes guiding managers, handling investigations, onboarding, and performance/pay equity, with occasional travel up to 25% within state and out-of-state as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years HR Generalist experience.
• Experience applying knowledge of state employment laws to assess compliance issues.
• Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Experience using time management skills to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Develop positive employee relations initiatives.
• Coach employees and managers on interpretation and administration of HR policy.
• Assist management in maintaining positive employee relations.
• Assess internal employee climate and counsel with managers to improve the environment.
• Partner with HR management during investigations and issue resolution.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management.
• Represent the company at unemployment hearings when needed.
• Liaise between Talent Acquisition and management in recruitment and selection of candidates.
• Determine training needs with local managers and analyze training requirements.
• Recommend training programs to support employee and management development.
• Ensure effective onboarding of new employees.
• Ensure consistency in job evaluations and compensation programs.
• Support leave of absence processes in partnership with corporateLeave of Absence team.
• Assist with Worker’s Compensation administration.
• Lead role in returning employees to work promptly.
