Job summary

Ashley Furniture in Saltillo, MS is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the Operations team with time-keeping, attendance, benefits, and onboarding. The role requires close collaboration with HR and operations across Bedding and other departments.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving, with on-site responsibilities and a standard 7:00AM-4:00PM shift, Monday through Friday. A related associate degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business administration, HR or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit, maintain and ensure employee time-keeping and absentee records with supervisors.
• Review attendance reporting and prepare corrective action documents.
• Maintain employee schedules in timekeeping and HRIS systems.
• Assist with management of Attendance Call In Log.
• Answer FAQs from employees regarding policies, HRIS access, benefits, etc.; refer complex questions to senior HR staff.
• Assist with required training, including quarterly compliance training and UKG Access.
• Assist with HR site initiatives including data collection for training and onboarding.
• Assist with special events such as benefits enrollment and company meetings.
• Assist with new hire orientation as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
